SEATTLE, WA.  [Thursday Apr.13.2006]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Kanye West, Yellowcard and Hawthorne Heights are among the acts set to play Bumbershoot -- Seattle's Music & Arts Festival -- in September.

Along with these artists, other performers headed to Bumbershoot include AFI, A Tribe Called Quest, Feist, Shooter Jennings, Mates of State, The English Beat, Deerhoof, and Laura Veirs. More acts will be announced in the weeks ahead.

Now in its 36th year, Bumbershoot is the biggest contemporary music and arts festival in North America and takes place over Labor Day weekend, from September 2-4. The three-day event features live music, comedy, dance, indie crafts, spectacle, film, theatre, kid's activities, and literary and visual arts.
