NEW YORK, NY  [Tuesday Apr.25.2006]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Beyonce, Nelly and OutKast's Andre "3000" Benjamin are among the nominees for the 2006 MTV Movie Awards.

Beyonce is in the running for "Sexiest Performance" for her role in "The Pink Panther." To take home the award, she'll need to beat Jessica Alba (Sin City), Jessica Simpson (The Dukes of Hazzard), Ziyi Zhang (Memoirs of a Geisha), and Rob Schneider (Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo).

Nelly and Andre 3000 will compete for the Breakthrough Performance award. Nelly was recognized for his role in "The Longest Yard," while Andre got a nod for his role in "Four Brothers." Other Breakthrough Performance nominees include Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers), Jennifer Carpenter (The Exorcism of Emily Rose), Romany Malco (The 40-Year-Old Virgin) and Taraji P. Henson (Hustle & Flow).

The 2006 MTV Movie Awards airs on Thursday, June 8th, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
