BANGKOK, THAILAND  [Friday May.12.2006]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Destiny's Child, Kelly Clarkson and Korn were among the winners at this year's MTV Asia Awards, held last week in Bangkok.

Destiny's Child received the Special Achievement In Popular Music Award, which member Kelly Rowland accepted on the group's behalf. Kelly also helped host the MTV Asia Awards with Taiwanese-American singer Wang Leehom.

Rowland wasn't the only Kelly to get an MTV Asia Award. "Walk Away" singer Kelly Clarkson won Favorite Female Artist. The Favorite Video trophy went to Korn for "Twisted Transistor," and Favorite Rock Act belonged to Green Day. Other winners included Ricky Martin for Favorite Male Artist, Simon Webbe for Favorite Breakthrough Artist, and the Backstreet Boys for Favorite Pop Act.
