BURBANK, CA  [Friday Jan.2.2004]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Chris Martin, lead singer for the band, Coldplay, has had what he calls a "mad year" and has decided that the world needs a break from Coldplay. The singer also said that the band has " become obsessed with trying to deliver something amazing" and hopes that people aren't sick of them.

Coldplay's third album, following the big klabooey smash hits "Parachutes" and "A Rush of Blood to the Head" won't be released until 2005.

He added "I hope people aren't sick of us. We loved touring the US but we're still not that big in America.

"I'm always worried it could end tomorrow. There's no guarantee people are not going to get fed up with us."
