The musical, by Queen and Ben Elton, features over 30 Queen songs and has been a smash hit in London. Beyonce sings the famous Queen song with Pink and Britney Spears in a British Pepsi commercial in which the girls play Roman gladiators. Said Queen guitarist Brian May of the commercial, "It was a big thrill - Britney Spears, Beyonce and Pink singing a Queen track!”

Beyonce hopes nabbing the role will score her an Oscar, as did “Chicago” for Catherine Zeta-Jones. Production on the film version of “We Will Rock You” is slated for early 2005.
