The band has cancelled the remaining dates on its Australian tour "due to a serious family illness." On May 19, the band issued a statement on their web site to inform fans of the cancelled concerts. Shows scheduled for Adelaide, Dunsborough, Perth and Fremantle will not take place.

In their official statement, Jet said that "the band sincerely apologizes for any disappointment caused by this unexpected turn of events." They also acknowledged and thanked fans for their understanding and support during the Australian tour, dubbed "Thee Get Well Gone Revue." Jet said they "intend to repay the support by making up these shows at a later date." Meanwhile, fans should obtain refunds from the point of purchase.
