LAS VEGAS, NV  [Thursday Oct.28.2004]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- It's official. Linkin Park and Usher rule the radio.

Both artists scooped up several awards at Monday night's Radio Music Awards (RMA) show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Linkin Park was named Rock Artist of the Year and also won Alternative Rock Song of the Year for "Numb." Usher nabbed Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, Hip-Hop Song of the Year for "Yeah!" and Cingular Artist of the Year.

Other winners included Beyonce, who won the Top 40 Radio Artist of the Year Award, and Train, who received the Modern Adult Artist of the Year honor. Tim McGraw was named the Country Artist of the Year.

RMA winners are based on the top-playing songs on the radio and are voted on by radio music and program directors around the US.
