LONDON, UK  [Wednesday Feb.16.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Brit-pop band Oasis is hitting the road for a handful of North American dates this June. Australian rock act Jet will join Oasis on the tour, which kicks off June 17 in Toronto. Stops along the way include Detroit, Chicago, New York and Philadelphia. Tickets to the Toronto, New York and Philadelphia shows have already sold out. At press time, limited tickets were still available at Ticketmaster for the Chicago and Detroit dates.

Oasis is touring in support of its yet-to-be-named new album, which is scheduled for North American release in late May or early June. The album is the band's follow-up to 2002's "Heathen Chemistry." Jet will continue to promote its debut release, "Get Born."
