LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Feb.24.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Get the slime ready, the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards are coming! The nominees are in for the network's 18th annual Kids' Choice Awards, and some of the contenders include Green Day, Destiny's Child, Avril Lavigne and Usher.

Green Day scored a nomination for Favorite Music Group, along with Destiny's Child, OutKast and the Black Eyed Peas. Lavigne is among the nominees for Favorite Female Singer, a category that also includes Beyonce, Alicia Keys and Hilary Duff. Favorite Male Singer nominees are Usher, Nelly, Chingy and LL Cool J. Usher also earned two nominations for Favorite Song.

You can vote for the winners starting March 7 at Nick.com. Votes can also be placed via wireless text messaging on cell phones and through the mail. Ballots are included in Nickelodeon magazine's March issue.
