SAN FRANCISCO, CA  [Thursday Mar.17.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Rob Thomas is gearing up for the April 19th release of his debut solo album, "Something to Be," and his plans include a short concert tour in the United States. On April 16, the Matchbox Twenty frontman opens the headlining club tour in San Francisco. He'll make stops in Ventura, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, St. Louis, Columbus, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston and New York before finishing up with a show in Washington, CD on April 30.

Many of the shows go on sale in the next few days through Ticketmaster.
