SACRAMENTO, CA  [Monday May.2.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Jesse McCartney kicks off a two-month, headlining tour in Sacramento tonight, May 2, in support of his solo debut, "Beautiful Soul."

McCartney has added a number of cities to the US theatre tour, including Detroit, Orlando, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Upper Darby, Wilmington and Wallingford. While many of the shows are on sale now, McCartney's June 10 show at the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and his June 14 show at the Kahuna Summerstage in Wilmington, Delaware go on sale this Saturday, May 7 at Ticketmaster.

While he's on the road, McCartney is also set to play the KISS Concert 2005 radio festival in Mansfield, Massachusetts on May 21 and the Y100 Sumer Splash in Sunrise, Florida on May 24.

The "She's No You" singer also has two August appearances scheduled including an opening slot for Simple Plan. On August 20, McCartney joins the Canadian pop-punkers at the Illinois State Fair. Tickets for that show go on sale May 15 through Ticketmaster.
