NEW YORK, NY  [Thursday May.26.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Thanks to a deal between Rob Thomas and ABC, fans will be able to hear and see the Matchbox Twenty frontman during this year's NBA playoffs.

ABC is using Thomas' song "This Is How A Heart Breaks" as the anthem for the NBA playoffs. The track will be used in the opening video of each game's telecast through the end of the NBA finals. The video shows NBA footage and live performance clips of Thomas.

"This Is How A Heart Breaks" comes from Thomas' solo album "Something To Be."
