PHILADELPHIA, PA  [Friday Jul.1.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- When Destiny's Child takes the stage at Philadelphia's Live 8 show on Saturday (July 2), the trio's performance will come from the heart.

Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle have visited Africa and witnessed firsthand the extreme poverty and the number of people living with and dying of AIDS.

"To actually see it right before your eyes, you feel it," Kelly Rowland tells MTV.com. "You cry. Your heart hurts. I don't think we really knew how in-depth [poverty] was in Africa until we went over there."

Beyonce Knowles adds, "Any person, any human being, that can see the poverty, and see how many people are infected there, you have no choice. You want to do something...because the people out there are much less fortunate than you are...."
