HOLLYWOOD, CA  [Monday Aug.8.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- When she's not making music or designing new fashions, you'll probably find Gwen Stefani acting.

She appeared as Jean Harlow in 2004's "The Aviator," and now the pop singer has been cast in the new movie "Factory Girl" about Andy Warhol's muse Edie Sedgwick. According to IMDB.com, Stefani will play Richie Berlin, Sedgwick's roommate. Sienna Miller will star as Sedgwick.

Stefani's husband and Institute frontman Gavin Rossdale is also acting in the flick. He'll play Gerard Malanga, while Australia's Guy Pearce portrays Andy Warhol.

"Factory Girl" is currently in the pre-production stage and will be directed by George Hickenlooper. No release date has been set for the movie.
