New music from Staind's Chapter V, Queen Tribute, Pennywise
by Krista Desens ![]() LOS ANGELES, CA [Tuesday Aug.9.2005] /RedBoxCode.com/ -- There's lots of new music hitting stores today, August 9th. Massachusetts-based rockers Staind return with the album "Chapter V," containing the song "Right Here." The highly anticipated Queen covers album, "Killer Queen: A Tribute To Queen," is also out now, featuring performances from Gavin DeGraw, Joss Stone, Sum 41, Jason Mraz and Breaking Benjamin. Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee offers up "Tommyland: The Ride." Lee gets a little help from his friends on several tracks, including Good Charlotte's Joel Madden and the Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter. If you prefer something more hardcore, check out the critically acclaimed Los Angeles punk band Pennywise. The group's latest is called "The Fuse," featuring the new single "Disconnect." A mix of punk rock intensity and metal-edged aggression, Pennywise's "The Fuse" is not for the faint of heart. For those of you who like your rock a bit more mellow, Hootie and the Blowfish are back with a brand new album called "Looking For Lucky." And on the pop-folk front, Nickel Creek returns with "Why Should the Fire Die." Wanna own a piece of Staind? More on Staind ![]() Wanna own a piece of Gavin DeGraw?
