NEW YORK, NY  [Friday Sep.9.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Tim McGraw will kick-off the Conde Naste live Fashion Rocks television special with a tribute to New Orleans through his song "My Old Friend."

CBS and the show's producers asked him to open the show and felt there was no one better to deliver the music than Louisiana native McGraw.

McGraw will join musical guests David Bowie, Destiny's Child, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, Alicia Keys, Nelly, Shakira, Gwen Stefani, Joss Stone, The Arcade Five and Rob Thomas. The special airs September 9, 9-11pm ET on CBS.
