LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Nov.8.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- With the numerous music releases out today, it's hard to know where to begin.

So let's start with Neil Diamond, who's on the comeback trail in a BIG way with his new album "12 Songs," produced by Rick Rubin. The set offers a stripped down Diamond, who returns to his singer-songwriter roots for this intimate set.

In compilation news, "Music From The OC: Mix 5" is now available and includes songs by the Gorillaz, Kasabian, and LCD Soundsystem. "Smallville: The Metropolis Mix" also arrives today, with songs from Lifehouse, the All-American Rejects, and Depeche Mode. And the soundtrack to 50 Cent's new movie "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" is here, with new tunes from 50, Mobb Deep and others.

New rap releases include D4L's "Down For Life," featuring the singles "Laffy Taffy" and Betcha Can't Do It Like Me," and Young Buck's "T.I.P." If you're soulful, try Floetry's latest "Flo'Ology." The new one from the Philadelphia-based duo boasts 11 tracks, including "SupaStar featuring Common.

Several greatest hits packages also arrive today including the Beastie Boys' "Solid Gold Hits," Limp Bizkit's "Greatest Hitz," and the Eurythmics' "The Ultimate Collection."

Also hitting shelves is a greatest hits package compilation from reggae music legends Bob Marley & the Wailers called "Africa Unite: The Singles Collection." The set includes a previously unreleased Marley track called "Slogans," with Eric Clapton on guitar. "Africa Unite: The Singles Collection" includes the mash-up track "Get Up, Stand Up vs. Jamrock." This mash-up mixes the Bob Marley classic with his son Damian Marley's hit single "Welcome to Jamrock."

Lastly, The Mars Volta releases "Scab Dates."
