NEW ORLEANS, LA  [Tuesday Nov.22.2005]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- The devastation caused by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita have brought musicians to together in a show of support and assistance for the storms' victims.

Artists from multi-genres have contributed songs for a new benefit CD called "Hurricane Relief: Come Together Now." The two-CD collection of 35 songs gets released today, November 22nd, and includes tracks by Coldplay, Kanye West, Faith Hill, Barbra Streisand, Brian Wilson, Harry Connick, Jr. Elton John, R. Kelly, John Mayer and Aaron Neville, B.B. King, Sting and Chris Botti, Clint Black, Norah Jones, Bonnie Raitt, Lenny Kravitz, Dave Matthews Band, Josh Groban, Rod Stewart, Gloria Estefan, and many more.

The RIAA, on behalf of its member companies and all of the participating artists, publishers and songwriters, will donate 100 percent of its net proceeds -- at least $15.00(U.S.) -- from the purchase price of the "Hurricane Relief: Come Together Now" CD to the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and the MusiCares Hurricane Relief Fund.
