LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Jan.16.2006]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Coldplay's Chris Martin will soon become a father again.

The Coldplay frontman and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow are expecting their second child together this spring, reports RollingStone.com. The couple also have a daughter named Apple Blythe Alison Martin, who was born in May 2004.

During a Screen Actors Guild viewing of Paltrow's movie "Proof" last week, the actress confirmed she was pregnant.

Said Paltrow, "Since my daughter came along, I've not worked much through choice. And with another baby on its way, I don't think I will be doing a lot for the next year or so either."

On January 25th, Coldplay launches its 2006 North American tour in support of its latest album "X&Y." Dates are scheduled through April 6th.
