DETROIT, MI  [Monday Feb.6.2006]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- When Carrie Underwood sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" prior to the NFC championship game a couple weeks ago, she was given a pair of tickets to Super Bowl XL as a gift from the NFL.

But time commitments before and after the game made it impossible for her to use the tickets. So, she made her sister and brother-in-law's year by giving the tickets to them.

"Normally, I would be all over that," Carrie admits. "But this time...I just thought, 'Well, I'll just let it go and give it to some [of my] family.'"
