HOLLYWOOD, CA  [Thursday Feb.9.2006]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Fans can catch Beyonce on the Big Screen beginning this Friday, February 10, when "The Pink Panther" opens in theatres across the US.

In what's described by imdb.com as "a prequel" to the Blake Edwards' 1964 classic comedy, Beyonce plays Xania, an international pop star who is also a possible suspect in the theft of the infamous Pink Panther diamond. Steve Martin stars as Inspector Jacques Clouseau and the film's cast also includes Kevin Kline, Jean Reno and Emily Mortimer.

"The Pink Panther" also features the new song from Beyonce "Check On It," with Slim Thug and Bun B.
