LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Mar.2.2006]  /RedBoxCode.com/ -- Beyonce Knowles and Jamie Foxx recently took time out from filming 'Dreamgirls' to meet and entertain 100 members of the press.

MTV.com reports that on Monday, February 27th, reporters were invited to the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, where the forthcoming musical is being filmed by director Bill Condon.

Once at the theatre, the reporters were treated to a performance by the Dreamettes -- better known as Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, and Anika Noni Rose. The song and dance number was filmed for the movie, with the reporters providing the necessary applause.

The press also got a sneak preview of a scene with another "Dreamgirls" star, Jamie Foxx, who talked with reporters during the visit. The Oscar winner joked about his co-star Eddie Murphy, and raved about his chemistry with Beyonce. Foxx then invited the press to join him, Beyonce, Condon and the other stars for a party in one of the theatre's prop rooms.

"Dreamgirls" will continue shooting for several more weeks. The movie hits theatres at the end of the year.
